implant and mini pill question

I had the implant put in after i had my daughter but had nothing but problems with it. I constantly bled, had headaches and was moody all the time so i had it taken out. That was over 2 months ago, i went straight on the mini pill and now I'm having no periods what so ever, yet my friends who use it have periods like normal and say the mini pill does not effect periods at all.

Anyone here had no periods on the mini pill?

Yes. I was on Cerazette before I had my daughter and had no periods at all. Unfortunately I haven't been so lucky after having my two (pretty much constant bleeding).

According to this: http://www.patient.co.uk/health/progestogen-only-contraceptive-pill-leaflet - 2 in 10 women have no periods while on the mini pill, so reasonably common!
