Impetigo

Unfortunately, my little girl has been diagnosed with impetigo in the nappy area. Got some antibiotic cream and happy to say it already looks a lot better, but one question I forgot to ask at the docs: Can I give her a bath whilst she has this, or will this make it spread everywhere? Anybody know?

yea you can , just make sure you when you dry her you dont use the part you touched the impetigo with elsewere as that is when it spreads xx

When my first daughter had impetigo I was encouraged to use baking soda in her bath as it clears it up... Not sure if you could do that with such a little one, but might be worth asking HV or DOc!?
