Imaginary friends!!

my mum was reminding me earlier that i used to have an imaginary friend called barry when i was younger. i used to tell her all the time that he had died in car crashes and things but then a few hours later he would come back to life coz i was bored and wanted someone to play with. lol

i was just wonderin if any of you or you LO's had/have imaginary friends??? i think they are less common these days as kids are on playstations and watchin tv more then when i was younger.

yep, I had an imaginary friend - a Kangaroo called Boxer lol

I dont remember anything about him apart from the fact I used to sit under the kitchen table with a jar of peanut butter and a spoon, and then blame him!

I used to have two imaginary friends that were dogs. Big dog and little dog!

I can even remember what sort of dogs they were. Big dog was a Dulux dog and little dog was a Jack Russell!
My mum and used to have let them in for me if they got left outside

DD however has a whole imaginary planet... called the Rainbow Planet.. and she has magical powers there, thousands of sisters (literally, they all have names too)... and she quite happily chats to me about it happily for hours and hours.. Its scary just how in depth it is.. to the point she can describe how the planet was destroyed, how she came to live on this planet... what life was like there.. It's really really explicit.

My DH now says that you all are my 'imaginary friends' on the forum

I have an imaginary friend now I think ...my OH ...I swear Im talking to myself most of the time ...I really think he is make belief ...might go give him a prod see if he is real. Confused

Hmmmm think I have one of these too.... but it's magic.... he floats in fixes computer problems and floats out again..

my younger sister and i used to pretend we had about 10 other siblings- we would talk about them as if they were really there and sometimes we would take on their roles ourselves
we were about 7 and 9 then
