I'm 14 weeks tomorrow and for the past few days I keep getting this feeling in my stomach like someone is poking me from the inside. It has happened a few times now and it hasn't really been in the same spot. Do you think I could be feeling the baby move?

is this your first baby? it might be a bit early if it is. could be wind :rotfl:

Yes it is my first and it wasn't wind lol

I have read that some people do feel it this early. I guess we are all different

oooh, how exciting!! Yeah, most books say 20 weeks for 1st child and 15ish for subsequent ones. But I rekon that the feelings are still there no matter how many babies you've had. It just depends on how good you are at interpreting them.

If you're super in tune with your body, and I remember you are really slim which also helps, then I rekon you might be able to feel it.

I'm only a few days behind you, and I must admit I'v been wondering about when I'll feel it.

Where abouts is the feeling? Is it quite low down? Cause at the moment your uterus would be just above the line of your public hair, maybe a bit higher.

It's quite low down and I can't remember feeling it before a few days ago. I did think it would be pretty early to be feeling anything yet but it just feels like something poking me from the inside so that's why I'm thinking it could be the baby. I soo hope it is but it's driving me mad not knowing if it's the baby or not lol.

the first time i felt millie move i layed flat on the floor and u can feel it better, try it :cheer:

Funny you should say this, i am 14 weeks today and i have been feeling the same thing and keep saying to my hubby to be and then keep thinking it's probally wind but i don't think it is, this is not my 1st baby though and my last boy i first felt him kick just after 14 weeks so i think it could well be :D :cheer:

I can feel what I would describe as bubbles or tiny flutters right where my uterus should be. But I'm not sure whether it's just my pulse or something else. It's definitely not wind because I know what that feels like by now (believe me, I've suffered!).

Having said that, I think I'm too early to be feeling it, but I don't think 14 weeks is too early. I'm sure it's possible especially if you're tiny, then there's less to interfere with you feeling your uterus.

I'm so chuffed, i didn't say anything just incase but i really think it was too and my hubby was all sad saying i want to feel too LOL i said you will soon im sure..Bless him!

I'm in my 14th week this week, this is my 1st pregnancy and I've been feeling the same thing too. It's a bit like a poke, like the baby is trying to kick me but I thought 14 weeks is a bit early to feel this. It occurs where the top of my knickers sit. And I notice it more when I'm singing - maybe the baby is trying to tell me to shut up! Hehe!

I first felt things when i was around 16 weeks but it was pretty much the same sensations you described :D

Sounds like it certainly could be your LO making the first tiny kicks.

I am sure I felt my LO at 13 weeks (it is my second pregnancy). I felt little bubbly sensations inside, a little like wind, but more concentrated.

Enjoy the movements. As you start to recognise them more you'll be able to tell the stronger movements straight away. :D

I think it's baby!! :cheer:
I'm expecting my first, I'm overweight (lots of it on my tummy area!) and felt my baby moving, like little flutters and bubbles etc from a day or two before I turned 16 weeks so I don't think it has much to do with where you are in your pregnancy, whether your fat or thin - if baby is moving he or she is moving!! End of story. How exciting for you!!

Yay sounds like it was my baby I felt then :cheer: :cheer: :cheer:
My baby is will either be a dancer or a footballer, I know it I can feel it in me waters :D :D
