The thought of food makes me want to puke.... Only thing I think I could possibly stomach is some cereal, do they still make start? I could eat start... Any other yummy cereal type suggestions that will whet my appetite?

I'm the same Hun :( I only fancy fatty things to chill my stomach! whenever I'm ill I always want chip shop chips lol not the best health wise lol I'm doing my tesco order online at the min hope you know u forced me to order start lol

Oooh, Start, I haven't had this for years! I'm on a mission to find it now! I found myself drawn towrads Crunchy Nut Cornflakes and Frosties too :)

I think it's probably too early for me to start having cravings, but we have just been to Hunstanton for the weekend and all I wanted was a huge portion of proper chippy chips lol. I could still eat some now I am home but our chippy is closed!! I've never heard of start cereal, I'll have to google it lol :-)

I had cravings early I just wanted strawberry nesquik all the time lol

Ohhh I could soooo drink some strawberry nesquick (makes us evens for the start ;-) ) chippy chips with lots of salt and vinegar actually sound appealing too :-) I'm beginning to think it's just the thought of a 'meal' thats making me queasy now as crunchy nut cornflakes sound good too lmao

Lol think when you feel so sick if u can hold anything down it's a bonus so I'm actually eating whatever I fancy for a change! Once sickness goes a bit back to healthy eating me thinks

I cant manage a "meal" now, so I keep having half a meal instead!! For tea I just had a chip cob :good:

I cant face milk or milky drinks? but today I discovered ginger and lemon tea! Fresh ginger and a slice of lemon in hot water- nice and settling!

I have just eaten 3 course sunday dinner for oh's dad's 65th b'day. Had to leave everyone having tea and cake at his parents house as I have work to do. Quite glad though as feel rather sick now, lots of tummy cramps too which are probably due to the large amount of food I have eaten. To be honest the thought of food has made me feel ill all week. At least I know why now.

Lots of peppermint tea for me until feeling better (have googled it - apparently I can still drink peppermint!)

I had a sausage sandwich for breakfast and roast lamb for Sunday dinner - I still feel very full and bloated :-( I think I may need to start eating smaller portions of food from now on lol :-)

Little and often really is the way forward!!!

Thanks Durham and Flips - just been chatting to you both in another thread about food lol - starting to get hungry now :-)
I see you're both from the Nottingham area too :-)

They sell Start in Tesco's, well they do in my local one you should check online!

When I feel sick I tend to eat things like soup that are just liquid, and cereal is definitely one of my other main dishes. Even just a bowl of Special K is fine for me!

I've just eaten a whole bar of white chocolate with orange peel - now I feel very sick & have a horrible taste in my mouth that can only be described as the taste of blue cheese ewwwwww :-(

Yeah I'm from Nottingham :-) have either of you decided where you will have baby? Sammy I can't stomach soup ATM and usually I love it :-( I went to my local tesco but no start so I got krave and special k :-)

Lol, I've only known I'm pregnant since Friday - not even thought about where I will have the baby yet. I guess it will be either The City Hospital or the QMC, I will have to ask around to see which one is recommended. What about you Flips? Can you recommend one?

Hope you enjoy your cereal xxx

They are both great but I will be at city (I had my other two at city) I work at QMC but when I first moved to notts I was 32weeks pregnant with my first and was automatically referred to city and can't fault the care they have always given me, plus if you have a normal pregnancy and delivery they have the patient hotel :-) As I sometimes work labour and delivery too and know a lot of the surgeons and Anaesthetists I somehow feel like if I needed to use them I'd rather not know them too well (if that makes sense lol)

Cereal is a regular meal for me, I've been eating that chocolate cookie cereal , turns the milk chocolaty :-D

Lol, yes that makes perfect sense - not sure I'd want people I work with helping to deliver my baby  I know a few friends who had their babies at the City Hospital and they were very positive experiences. Not sure I know anyone who went into the QMC......
