But Im watching "will my crash diet kill me?" and Im sitting here wondering which one I should start doing

Ive got to watch the rest of the programme tho just incase the answer is yes!!

any of you guys crash diet?

LOL pretty sure that's not the idea!! Are there any good ones?
I've never been on a diet in my life, unless of course eating loads of junk is classed as a diet?!x

Dont know if you would call it a crash diet but I have done Atkins. Lost weight VERY quickly ! X

I did slim fast!! I did lose weight but I really had to watch what I ate after because it piled back on very quickly!

yeah I did atkins and it really worked, but I dont think I could do it at the mo cos Im so busy and everything you can eat on atkins needs cooking!

lol junk food diet sounds good but doubt it would get me what I want

Im liking the look of the juice master diet, but I really wanna do lighterlife but we cant afford it

Slim fast have never appealed to me!! I keep walking past those biggest loser meal replacement bars in tesco...I wonder how full they make you feel?????

I've not seen much about lighter life, how does that work?

The second time I done Atkins I fell very very poorly so would never do it again. Doctor said it was probably the dramatic change to my immune system because all you eat is fat. My MIL doing it now and is fine though x

yeah south beach diet is better than atkins, I tend to do that. Theres no limit to the salad and veg you can have and youre encouraged to eat low fat meat like fish and chicken.

Lighter life is the one princess81 did last year, she did really well on it. You totally dont eat any food except what they give you for the week. Its mostly shakes I think. You have to see a pharmacist every week and get weighed and they give you your supply. It costs about £70 per week. Our food shop budget is £40 per week for both of us so that aint gonna work!

ok so the programme concluded that the food elimination diet is the best weightloss and the healthiest crash diet :yay: I think Im gonna have to start that one. I might get OH to promise to buy me a ring if I get to a certain weight  that might work for me!

Lol, I like your thinking :-)

My lipotrim diet was the same as lighter life, but about 40 per week. May have to return to it if I pile on toj much timber :-/ x

Oh we were watching thinking the very same thing. I've lost 7lbs so far this year and plan to keep it coming off! My manager did the lighter life and it's basically like a meal replacement diet but they 'reintroduce' you to food and have to go to group councelling every week. She went from a 26 to a 12 in under a year and it's still off!

Yeah I did the counselling etc it was brill. The reintroduction of food is the most difficult bit x

Oooh I'm totally gonna start dieting! We plan on getting married June next year and I want to be a size ten by then, plenty of time to lose it but I wanna get started now, you've inspired me!x

I averaged a loss of 4lb per week. Went from a 14/16 to a 10/12. Took 7 weeks x

Oh I can imagine, it must be hard not to go back to old habits! I seem to lose a bit then get a bit laid back and put it back on. Determined not to do that this time.

As from new years day I was meant to start my diet but I just can't seem to get started! I'm still eating rubbish and then when I finish I think I'll start my diet again tomorrow but then eat crap the next day!! I'm finding the starting to diet so hard!

I wasnt bothered about weightloss then saw a horrendous pic of myself and it gave me a proper kick in the bum!! X

ah lipotrim, yeah i remember you doing it and thinking I must do that after the baby is born. I think £40 per week is more achieveable. I'll have to talk to OH about it cos I cant be cooking dinner for just him every night! and it would cost more for us, but Im a size 16 now and im only a shortie too so im so dumpy. Id love to get down to a size 10/12 :yay:

ok y'know what im on the lipotrim website and as soon as my mum gets here to watch LO Im going to the pharmacy to sign up :yay: I could be my ideal weight in time to return to work. im fretting about not fitting my work clothes after the pregnancy :(
