I'm not stupid...honest!

Ok, I've read quite a few things in TTC about people charting and one of the things mentioned is position of cervix, whether its high, low and open or closed. Probably very stupid question but how do you all know this??? How do you feel it, where do you feel etc?

umm i dunno about positioning, but i think it normally feels quite hard like the end of ur nose, then around ovulation it gets softer like the same texture of a lip with a dimple in it? lol that didnt make any sense atal!

You just put your finger up and you should feel a hole. Sometimes when ovulating its harder to reach because its so high (more chance of sperm getting in) and when your not ovulating it will be much further down so you dont have to look very hard to find it and the hole should be more closed although I never really notice a difference in the hole size.

Sorry if this is TMI but I can never find mine I guess it must be quite high up, is there any position you should be in to feel it better ie squatting?

lye on your back with a pillow under your bum (i usualy use a firm pillow) and try with your legs in the air see if you can feel it then

Really? I can always feel mine at the tip of my finger but I never feel for the position of it because I don't think its good to keep putting her hand up there
