hi can i join the trying to conceive thread with you lovely ladies please ..

I got my BFP exactly a week tody .. safe to say me and my DH were over the moon ..
sadly after the positive tests they started to go negative and following my blood results today they've dropped to 2 HCG meaning ill miscarry anytime within the next two weeks :(

me and my partner are going to keep trying and we know one day we will have our little bundle of joy.. I know it seems strange to be wanting and thinking of trying again so soon but tbh it makes me happy and is a nice distraction from the devastating news ive just had.

so whats the best way to track OV ?
BBT (temping) how good is it and accuate ?
I'm not a fan of OV sticks tbh so suggestions

and whats your views on agnus castus to regulate cycles ?

thanks ladies baby dust to you all

So sorry to read your post - hope you are doing ok xx

Can't help much on tracking Ovulation - it's my first month tracking this month and I'm going to give the Ovulation sticks a proper go, last month I didn't do it daily so either missed it or didn't O, going to do it every day this month.

So sorry for your loss firstly.
I'm no ttc expert but some little tips.
Zinc is great for oh increases sperm rate apparently also helps to stop the common cold.
Listen to your body, I had of pains a few days after my period. Dismissed them but dtd anyway, then due to illness we didn't dtd the rest of the month, on my tracker (an app on my phone) I totally missed my ov but I ended up with a bfp. So my body knew what the trackers didn't!
Also you are more fertile after a pregnancy or a loss so that should hopefully help although it doesn't always.

Good luck love I hope you have a sticky soon xxx

So sorry to hear about your mc hunni

Vitex worked for me it took me down from 42days to 37 I have the lean pcos and altho I have two boys it's been a real struggle to get pregnant , I did lots of endless research into vitex before taking it I think I was one of the lucky ones tho I took 2000mg a day and it worked for the next cycle made it shorter so ladies it can mess you up but I took that risk to see if it worked for me , I've come off vitex now but will go back on if my cycles go over 37 am currently on vitamin c and myo inositol this stuff is amazing..... best £20 I've ever spent along side this I use clearblue dual hormone helped me loads xx

Sorry about your loss hun.

Temping and taking ovulation tests are the best ways to know for sure when you're ovulating. I use the Fertility Friend app and along with the tests (I get the cheapies from Home Health Uk as they're much cheaper) and taking my temp each morning I know exactly when I'm ovulating.

The good thing about the tests is that you know a few days before you ovulate as they start to get darker giving you a chance to cover your whole fertile period whereas with taking your temp, it only peaks the day of/after ovulation which means you've missed up to 5 days of being fertile beforehand.

Keeping everything crossed for you :)

Lx

thank you so much ladies :)

you're all so wonderful !

I'm on my preconception vits again and so is DH
I'm deffo going to get into temping even though it can only tell you when ov has happened .. but hopefully I can see which point in my cycle I ov :)
the only thing with the sticks is price and how many times because ive read women doing 2 or more times a day to catch the surge !!! so confusing to me

lennie86 whats myo inositol ? :)

thankyou redbear I did hear you can be more fertile after a pregnancy but wasnt to sure if it was true or not !!

xxxx

Sorry to hear this Sammi, hope you're taking care of yourself.
Inositol is a supplement largely helpful to ladies with PCOS.
I'd wager a lot of the women on here use cheap opks from Amazon/eBay (inc me) and they work just fine if you wanted to consider that. Some women test twice a day but for example I always catch it doing it once a day.

Re Angus castus - did you struggle with cycles before? Xx

Myo inositol helps regulate and stimulate makes your eggs good and my does is work it's a small dose of metformin but a natural one , I've had irregular cycles all my life and wanted to get them down to at least 37 days an it's worked vitex works the same way xxx
