I'm back and excited first scan tomorrow!

Well had a lovely break away treated hubby for his 30th Birthday booked a room at http://www.zanzibarhotel.co.uk/ the one called South America couldn't recommend it enough really lovely place to go and chill for a few days just what we both needed!

Have first scan tomorrow and I am so excited but also worried and I guess that is only natural. Scan is at 2.45pm Do you take a drink with you to drink on the way to make sure bladder is full? Any advice appreciated!

Not sure if I will get on tomorrow afterwards as I promised to visit my mum on way home to show pics and it's MIL's birthday so having a meal with them tomorrow night.

good luck with your scan.

I drank a litre of water whilst i was waiting to go in as this pushes your uterus up and you apparantly get a better picture.

Well scan was amazing - they were trying out a brand new machine and asked if I would mind being a guinea pig with the Sales Man as well training!

Saw babies heartbeat and baby was very active they checked and there is only one in there - have history of twins in family so asked them to double check!

My dates have changed I have been put back 6 days so now due 30th Jan and next scan is booked in for 15 September

Got 8 pictures as I was a guinea pig

Will try to get some pics online tomorrow to show you all - really weird but I still don't feel that I have a baby inside me cant get it to sink in thought it would after scan
