Ill, will bub be ok?

My Mr has had a stomach virus thing for four days, and when I saw my MW on Tuesday she just said the baby would be fine if I got it just to drink loads of water. So, last night I got sick, threw up really badly twice and now I have a temperature, the temperature won't harm the baby will it? It's not major I'm just a bit warm and got goosebumps, not nice!!!!

Bbaby will be fine just as midwife said drink loads of fluids. Im paranoid about getting that sickness bug because if i get it then my OH and daughter will get it and i cant deal with people being sick i hope your better soon x

Not really sure about this but didn't want to read and run. I think drinking loads of fluids to replace what you are losing is a really good idea and therefore should not impact on the baby much. If you're temperature is a bit high then just do a few things to cool yourself down, even if you are feeling cold e.g. bath, shower, cold flannel, drinking cold water. If it gets really high or you can't keep fluids down then go to the docs.

Yee it's a horrible bug, my Mam had it back at the beginning of February and nobody caught it off her thank god, hers went on for about a week! I'm just trying to drink loads of water, ribena and sitting here with the windows open in a vest and a pair of shorts - it's nobbling!!

I'm sure you'll both be fine. Just look after yourself and maybe take some vitamin supplements if you're struggling to eat. Your LO will get all it needs from you so dont worry - you might feel crappy but bubs wont suffer
