Grrr - I have just come back from dropping OH out to meet his mates and some guy sat on my bumper, flashing his (full beam) lights at me because I had the AUDACITY to drive 29 in a 30 zone. Not only will I NOT break the limit, particularly as I only passed my test a few months ago, but where I was driving was VERY curvy, some very looong, winding curves that are downhill. There are quite a few accidents there as it is.
It makes me so angry - and also quite worried for when I have LO in the car. It wasn't like I was driving really slowly, I was doing the limit!!!

I know I am going to have to get used to this but really! Some people make my blood boil. (Along with people who don't pick up dog mess. But that is a whole other rant!! Lol)

i know what you mean hun...iv been driving 2 years and still get this!!!

I get it on my driving lessons. My instructor just says to leave them too it, if they want to overtake or be a d!ck it's their own fault and sooner or later they'll end up in an accident.

But he does get me to stamp on the brakes to sh!t them up a bit... :rotfl:

Yeah - I do have a tendency to slow down even more!!! People did it on my driving lessons as well - I mean, does the big f**king Learner signs all over the car not give a clue??? It may have been my first lesson for all they knew.

i do exactally the same if someone is up my rear end ive never got up someones backside always leave enough space to brake etc etc

and i ALWAYS give extra space when im behind a learner driver...at the end of the day all of us who have passed our tests have been there once and know how nerve racking it is...even though the instructor had duel controls i still got panicy if someone got too close up my rear end!!!!

:rotfl: :rotfl: So do I!!! (Quote of the day)

thats ok u havent been driving all that long ive been driving nearly 4years and still panic!!!!! :rotfl:

If someone crawls up my arse with their car I deliberately slow right down to about 15mph to force them to overtake.

Yesterday somebody was tailing me so aggressively though that I actually pulled over to the side of the road, stopped the car, and let them go past.

Can't bloody stand it esp. when the kids are in the car. It's so dangerous.

Drives me mad too (scuse the pun hehe)

Ive been working at Traffic Wales for 2 weeks, and already have seen some idiots doing the most bizarre things....I cant go into details as im not allowed to discuss it but believe me, theres some unbelievable stuff going on out there on the motorways!!!

Its certainly made me more wary

I just slow down completely, I don't even give them the chance to over take...there is just no need for agressive driving, especially if you were doing the right speed for the area.

Good on you for not being intimidated by that "person".

Sadly other peoples bad driving is something you will see a lot of, I have been driving over 20yrs and am constantly surprised by the driving habits and bad manners of some other people.

Worst gripe....Parents dropping their kids off to school and parking on the zig zag lines right outside the school to do so!!!! Putting their own kids and everyone else's in danger
