Ideas please

I'm looking for some ideas for a list of gifts as family and friends keep asking me what they can get my baby. I've got all the usual big things like cot, buggy, Moses basket, furniture etc. So need ideas all I've put on it so far is a lullaby thing and a play mat/gym. What sort of toys do I get or is anyone getting anything for the garden. Xx

I heard the Lamaze toys are fabulous you can also ask for clothes on bigger sizes or blankets, you can never have enough of those.

What about baby monitors? Or is there anything you really, really want but can't justify buying yourself? Something that isn't necessarily important or practical but a bit of a treat?

Friends I asked for toys, got given teethers and soft teddies, I'd love a lamaze toy! Clothes in older sizes is good, a bouncer?

Have you got all your nursery bedding? I have asked for things from the Little Circus range in Mothercare from my friends at work and also a monitor x

I have monitors, bedding, towels, bouncer. I have put on my list a swing/rocker, door bouncer, bath toys. But still not sure what to ask for. Keep the ideas coming pls. Xx

Cot mobile? A toy that wraps around the handle of the car seat? Gift vouchers?

What about a toy box? My brother just ordered us a wooden one that can go downstairs to minimise mess! You can get them made for about £80 if people were clubbing together xx

I have asked for clothes in size 3 - 6 months as we have pretty much everything else covered

my mums putting together a baby box with nappies, extra suda cream, little knitted cardis and baby wipes etc stuff that always gets used its a great idea i did it for my friend when she had her 1st and she was very thankfull and said it came in handy as she hadnt thought about the smaller stuff

A night light? For when LO goes into their own room and you still need to go into them during the night. We have just asked for 3-6 clothes or toys. Travel toys are nice - like the spirals that can go around the car seats and cot x
