im here im admitting it i was wrong about controlled crying *hands up* after trying just about everything, including shh pat, pu/pd i tried it, i kept checking on him but in 2 days his wholesleep routine has completely turned around and i finally have my evenings back...iu made sure he was fed, clean and happy and he was but he just didnt like not been cuddled to sleep and the cries were just for attention...so im sorry i was wrong....(i still wouldnt do cry it out though) lol

Not long at all hun, I only had to go back in once after 10 mins
he didnt make it another 10 mins bless him!!! i was in shock, before I have tried puttin ghim down awake and staying with him and just keep putting the dummy back in but then he never went to sleep because he knew i was there to give him attention and that in the end i would pick him up and rock him to sleep!

Tonight I have had to go in twice but his teeth have been really playing up today, and he is stop starting whinging now so he is on his way to sleep ..


It might take longer for ellis though because he is older, but id say do it (how weird not long ago i was saying noo do pupd cc is horrible) and now im saying do it!!!!!
But you need to have patience and will power....which i didnt think I had....

Its the hardest thing iv ever done in my life CC because my little boy was crying because he wanted me to cuddle him and i wanst giving him cuddles but it was for both of our goods and its paid off, it does take will power and i admit i cracked alot of times but I am glad in did it because I have a boy whose fantastic at bedtimes now im struggling to get him to bed later now lol
