would this be a good idea?

Hi,
I have a friend whose nickname is Rab, but real name Robert. Both are cool, you don't always have to go with the long versions like Zachery (Zac) Alexander (Alex).

Bev x x

Rab C Nessbitt - (Sorry) but that is what springs in to mind! balding scottish fat bloke

Sorry but i would have to say no. I feel it gives a pre conceived image of a hard man.

Sorry, dont hate me :(

Its ok, is it from Viva la bam or jackass by chance? By husband watches it and i swear there is someone called Rab on there???

I'm Scottish and it's popular up her.. But it does sound like an older persons name..Why not Robert whilst he is young, then if u/he wants Rab when he is older??

It's my uncle's and grandad's name!
