I love phoebe rose and had it all planned out, but what of shes born and dont look like a phoebe?I cant call her that if she dont look like one!

I know 3 baby girls born this year and they have all been called Pheobe, i think it is a lovely name. There middles names are

Pheobe May
Pheobe Rose and
Pheobe Louise

All quite cute! Mym mum was determined to call me Christine until she saw me and changed her mind so its good to be prepared - ie having a back up name!

I quite like Sophia - not all that keen on Piper but its your choice a thte end of the day

Of your alternatives, I like Sophia, but I'm not so keen on the others. Piper sounds like a surname to me (Charmed notwithstanding), Lola reminds me of the Kinks song (about a transvestite) and Tallulah is too Bugsy Malone for me. Sorry!

I've liked a name since I found out I was pregnant but am going to wait until baby is here until I name him/her. I agree that you can look like a certain name. I used to always think I looked like an Amanda when I was young. Hhmmm

I wouldn't worry if you change your mind when he's born. My mum told me that when she was preggers with my big bro all through pregnancy she was adement he would be called Stephen, but when he arrived she thought he looked like a Robert so went with that.

I chose James' name when I was 6 months pregnant and have never regretted it.

if u really like phoebe dont not use it coz u dont think she suits it. babies faces change loads anyway i dont think any baby suits its name at first, and if it does it prob wont suit it when its older lol!
melissa is my daughters grown-up name, for now we call her millie-pops! (we cant call her that when shes 30 tho lol!)

Whilst in hospital one lady on the ward told me how they had twin girls and had to swap their names as they suited each others character heehee I do believe babies can "look" a certain name or not, and I am sure you will KNOW what your daughters is soon enough after she's born, if not already
