Ouch!!

My nipples really really sting when she's feeding, and even for a good while afterwards.

If I have to stop a feed to wind her, it's horrendous when she goes back on. I actually had to finish her off with expressed at the last feed it was soooo painful.

Get yourself to the docs....I had this at 3 weeks and with cream the pain went within 1-2 days. U'll be prescribed cream for your nips, babies bum (separate tube) and liquid nystatin for LO's mouth. Fin was ok taking the medicine via a spoon. Hope it clears up soon xx

I'm gonna phone midwife in the morning. Gonna use expressed stuff tonight to give my boobs a break.

Think part of the problem is I'm literally producing mountains more than she needs, so the pads in my bra are constantly saturated. Xxx

Have you got any breast shells instead of pads to let the air circulate? I keep getting thrush too, starting to think its back again as Im sore.

I keep getting it too.. Defo change ur pads regularly and get some cream ASAP.. And treatment for LO!
Wash clothing and bedding etc on high temp too xx

Thanks guys. Mw came out today, I don't actually have thrush, just really really sore. Feel like a bit of a wimp now. Lol.

She thinks it's cos I'm still really engorged.

I went for a bath tonight, actually got over an hour while DH had G.

Lil bugger is cluster feeding today though - goes on for all of five mins the falls asleep. on one hand this means it hurts less - but got the feeling i could be in for a long night.

Lewis has it on his tongue it's very white. Have been using nyastatin drops for 3 days and it's helped him feed better, his bum was a bit red too but the drops go through his system and deal with that end too.
