Since having my son I have looked into midwifery as I feel it would be a very rewarding career and one which would bring me lots of joy, and yes pressure too but it would be so worth it.
BUT I cannot afford to just study and go to uni, me and my partner have a new house and large bills. I'm so gutted as I believe in the saying you only live once but don't think I could go for it.
Anyone any advice or have experience in my situation? X

You would have to be able to live on one wage as you wouldn't be bringing in a considerable amount of money while you study.
You may be eligible to a student loan and in some cases a small bursary but it wouldn't equal a wage, it would be a small amount x

Student loans are roughly £10,000 a year. Our mortgage alone is £1200 a month without other bills included. I am only in the job I am now for money, I don't enjoy it at all. X

That's a real shame. Lots are in your position and unable to leave work for study x
