but prob wouldn't be worth the risk of 'would they be here in time', and would prob be too expensive anyway with the postage on top.

I went to a wedding recently and bought the shoes and a suit from this lady on Ebay:

Really quick delivery (I think I asked for them to be sent Special Delivery). She also does a pair of patent black soft shoes if you don't want a hard shoe.
