I need a weight loss buddy

Iwant to lose about 3 in total, i really need to :(
 
I need to lose 3 stone 8 pounds and dont know where to start :(
 
Snuggle id start by having a look at a few different diets eg sw, ww and all that and then decide which one you feel is best for your lifestyle and so on :D
 
:wave: sorry to butt in but if anyone needs a buddy, im looking to lose around 4 or 5 stone and generally keep up a healthy lifestyle that i can maintain. oh and i want to get to size 10 because thats what i used to be but now im size 16. yeh so i'le be a buddy if anyone wants me :)

woohoo! somebody wants me ( you were talking to me wernt you? lol) hopefully when i lose the weight it will help me get regular cycles so i might actually be able to get pregnant! :dance:

ooh i dunno really i wanna do one where i have a certain amount of calories i can stick to each day because i tend to be a bit extreme when i do my own diet like having just soup or cereal for the whole day and i know thats bad coz your body thinks your starving and also i cant keep it up lol. ile go and have a search around the net. do you find sw good? i like diets that are quite restrictive coz if im allowed one sweet thing then thats it diet goes down the drain! lol
 
Sw isnt really that restrictive coz no matter what you can have
free food for your chosen day so you are never hungry, which
is good for someone like me as i love my food :cheer:
 
i think i will just search around for lots of recipes and kinda do my own diet and maybe try to have about 800 or 900 calories a day. im not too bothered about food but the thing that gets me is fizzy drinks i love coke too much lol i drink like 10 cans a day so i have to cut that out completely and stick to juice or water :( i have a book and im gunna write in it my start weight and what i eat and what excercise i do each day then at the end of the week weigh myself to see if i have lost any, that way i can see what combination of food and excercise helps me lose the most weight.

I was very like you Rosie - but I find slimming world great - restrictive diets are very hard to maintain - what I try and do now is say to myself I can eat 3 bicuits (15 syns) but that is it and I make myself stop by saying to myself - If you dont stop you will ruin everything and you will be back to starving and binging in no time and this way is much more fun _ I can eat lots and still lose weight and I feel I am gradually learning a healthier way of eating and gaining control over my eating habits. I am probably a bit more extreme though as I used to be bulemic and find it very easy to slip back into old habits of starving myself and then binging etc etc
 
yeh hun i get what you mean but i think i might be really strict for the first few months and not have anything sweet but then after that i will start working treats into the diet. the thing is i started my diet in january and lost quite a bit of weight and had no sweets or coke whatsoever but then i went to stay at my mums at easter and i was my dads birthday aswell so there was cake and chocolate and buffet food so my diet stopped lol im not as bad as i was but i need to be strict to get my diet back on track otherwise i cant just stop at one biscuit ile eat the whole packet! lol but thanks tho hun ile definately make sure im not too hard on myself. oh and keep up the good work!! :cheer:
