Thanks. Yeah apparently with my situation I have a 90% chance to deliver normally without an emergency C section, so I'm happy to give this a go.

A tablet just went in. Husband is at home resting.

I hate ctg! Have been on it for ages, so uncomfortable, but they won't let me go because the contact is not good and keeps dropping, and they want to get a good stretch without drops. And the baby doesn't move enough for their liking. He is probably as fed up as I am with being squashed with rubber bands poor thing!

I'm having contractions now at least, so that's a good thing.

After about 3 hours, they took me off ctg. Hallelujah!

Husband is on the way back. Contractions are getting mean and frequent.

Thank you everyone contractions started coming thick and fast very quickly, so I didn't need to have a second pessary and had my little boy at 9 pm only needed Gas and Air. The most uncomfortable thing was being plugged to ctg constantly during labour. It kept picking up my pulse instead of baby's, so the MWs kept readjusting it and pressing on it.

So all is well will do a photo tomorrow - knackered!
