Thanks Agian Sherlock it would have been a lovley way to solve our problem but the sealing is to low in the bedroom for it
we think if we move the chest of draws out into the store room we may just be able to fit the cot at the bottom of the bed
i cant see it be honest
but fingers crossed 
after we've measured both it will fit 
though there is the radiatior in the way but the solution would be to remove it and i summer we wont need it on.
He really needs to get the store room sorted as with the cot in the bedroom that means the tv and lap top have no where to go i need a sitting room and changing area ect ect
i need a place to sit and relax
so if he dosnt get on with it soon i may just have to tell him what
for
If needs be i will get my Dad down to sort it out he's a DIY king james will not like that but sod him im thinking of me and the baby.
