was just wondering if you think we should tell our kids as soon as I am or wait till 12 wks? We never waited with the boys to tell anyone. Mac was only 3 at the time so was too young to understand anyway.

That would depend on whether they are likely to let slip to anyone accidentally that you don't want to tell yet.

I don't think we'll tell James till 12 weeks, cos if anything went wrong I think he might have trouble understanding.
Saying that though, I would find it hard cos I'm rubbish at keeping things like that to myself!

My daughter is too young to understand so I wouldn't mention it until 12 weeks but after that point I would be mentionning it all the time to get her used to the idea.

I'm a great believer in the fact that you'll know what the right thing to do is, at the time!

we never keep quiet till 12 weeks - mainly as my sisters and I can guess when each other are pregnant..

We explained to Josh what we were doing before we started - he knew my OH had had the snip so we needed to explain in case I got pregnant quickly...
