I'm thrilled to have found the pregnancy forum but what makes it the way it is is all of you.

Before joining here I was/still am, but very rarely visit it now, a member of another board for ttc.

I thought at first that it was great to have support at this very exciting time. I soon had my eyes opened to the cliques in the group, to the hurtful snide remarks to those that did post they had a BFP especally if they had only been a member for a short time. The aura of the group was not good, lots of jealousy, envy which I can understand and thought it was acceptable going through this tough time and especially those who have been trying for a long time.

I came to this group a few months ago and i am so pleased i did. Everyone is so excited at the possibility and even if envy does creep in I've never read a post with a hidden snide comment.

I have been lurking here for a while, i've posted a few posts but i'm really beginning to trust the group. The genuineness of it and the people who use it.

TTC is a tough, tough time. I once couldn't bare to look at BFP posts while I was on the other board but here it's different. I adore reading lady's good luck and equally I find it very difficult and personal when unfortunate things happen. It's not just words here. It's lovely, genuine people who really do care even when they're struggling to cope with it all themselves.

What a lovely thing to say.

I have been lurking for a month and this is only my 2nd post but I thought that was very honest of you to say that.

I havent been on any other Baby forums to experience what you have described but I did when I used forums for planning my wedding and I have to say that youre right. There doesnt seem to be any nasty, crude, rude or horrible things said on this forum just good sound advice and support for eveyone.

I hope that the community on here keep it that way.

What a lovely post - I dont really post that much on the forums as I think that I am bothering people a lot but I think what you have said is very true and I just wanted to say I agree with you xxx

It is so nice to see people getting BFPs and it is hope that it will happen to all of us soon xx

aww, at first I thought you meant this forum was snide..lol. I was thinking, I have never experienced that.

I completely agree, it is a great forum and I have got so much support over the last year.

i agree with all of you, what a lovely post, i am new here too,havent been on any other forums so i dont know what others are like. Everybody is just sooo friendly and helpful and full of god advice for each other.

Hi MicheLou, yes I think all the ladies are lovely here too and we are really supportive to each other a lot of the time, no matter what's happening

I've not been on another ttc forum but am on some for other subjects, and know what you mean. On some of them, the mods even have it written into the rules that they're allowed to flame members
