i just fell down the stairs! * updated page 2

from top to bottom!! wacked my head and my pelvis about 5 times..im havign cramping but dont know if its just a reflex.. my back and head are killing... especially my back.. and i think i have carpet burn on my bum cheeky..

well obvious question is.. do i wait untill monday for my scan or phone the anti natal suite today and explain whats happened?

Aw hun you poor thing you must be in agony. I would phone your midwife today don't leave it till Monday. Try and rest as much as you can too.

bloody receptionists!!!!

sorry.. but i rang the hospital and they told me to ring my gp (back id rang them and they said to go to the emergency unit..) so i rang them.. they put me through to the midwife led unit..

she told me to ring bk my gp to get an appointment at the main hosptial 20 miles away..so.. after all this i ring the gp back.. the receptionist is all sarky on the phone.. u should have just gone to the emergency unit - who by the way only deal with minor injurys - to be checked out.. i said to her if it was a minor injury then perhaps i would have but they cant do anything for me there..stupid woman! so im waiting for ehr to phone back!

my back really hurts and i have pink cm..- hopefully that is jsut because we had sex last night.. and hopefully this ittle bub is sticking

This happened to a friend of mine and her baby was fine, however i would definatley go to the hospital and get a scan just in case.

Babies are suprisingly well protected. I got told that if you had a knock injury they are generally ok, its the puncture wounds that break the skin that are the worst.

Go get checked out just to be sure! Hope you bum burn is better soon, ouch!

If your back, neck and head are aching then you could have done more damage than just bump it. When you're there you will have to tell them you are pregnant because they will want to do x-rays, but at least then you might be able to get a scan ! And take care of yourself!

I'd go to A&E and tell them your neck and back are sore, and tell them you are also PG bacause they may want to X-Ray you. Don't wait for the receptionist to call back just go straight there.
