I Have No Cervix!! - Possible TMI

I keep reading all these posts about cervix positions!

But I can't find mine! I'm pretty sure I don't have one!

I looked for the 'rubbery nose like' tip but my finger is as far up as it will go and all I can feel are my 'walls'!

My cervix is on one side of my canal so DH togger goes up the side of it and its like a lump more than a nose, little thing! Only ever felt it highish, can just get it with the end of my finger. You can get a thrill looking (had to say it, sorry! )

A week before ovulation I thought I'd found it as I found a little 'nubbin' thing!

I always found I couldn't reach it very well during the middle of my cycle, only just before AF when it moves downwards, it also seemed to disappear up high somewhere when I in the last few months of pregnancy, we got into the habit of cervix spotting in 3rd tri!! (it was very low when I first got my BFP). It certainly will be up there somewhere, not everyone is able to reach it easily HTH!

I mean whats the differnce if your gonna get AF to when you have conceived??

Try doing a few 'kegel' exercises (where you tense all your muscles up then relax) before you look, I can make mine go from high to low (which is really annoying as I can't ever tell anything from it ).


Apparently it's supposed to go high once you concieve but I think it's a bit hit and miss as it depends on the individual.

Now go and find it!

mine was very low, soft and a bit open for the first few weeks after conceiving, very much like before af arrives really, then it went up and disappeared for months!

Not necessarily. I find mine changes positions depending on lots of different variables, like whether or not I've done my kegels for the day or whether or not (TMI WARNING) I've got a #2 waiting in the wings. I find it sometimes tilts to the side as well and so I can't feel the opening straight away.............have I said too much?

i cant find mine either and i thought it was just me! i thought i had found it and i thought it was low and soft but it turned out it was the side of my vag and wasnt my cervix opening

so, i dont think i have one either, i just have a squishy vag

i have a quick poke first thing in the morning when i'm half asleep but whenever i try to have a proper inspection i always end up having a wank. and then falling asleep, so its not very useful to me

Ok TMI warning!
The only way I can find mine.........
Stand with one leg up on the loo or bath (I put right leg up, as I'm right handed?), longest middle finger at ready
enter from the front (tupps side, rather than bum!)
keep going up, ignore the walls, your still not there yet!!
Yeah, you should have now reached your destination

Mine is like... (god its hard to describe) a bump, knobble, oh I give up!?!

Anyway, once (if) u locate it, with flat finger tip, just rub it over it & you should feel the opening.
Mine just feels the small dimple (hole) in it
