Dear Lucy
Deborah passed your email to me as she is otherwise engaged for the next few months. To treat your problem it is very important that we find the root cause of the insomnia and deal with that root cause. What we have discovered form our work over the years is that if this root cause is merely suppressed rather than treated directly then the treatment will only be effective in the short term and any improvement will break down in the longer term, taking you back to square one. Although we are dealing with the root cause of the problem please be aware you will not need to reveal any details to your therapist during the hypnosis for this to be achieved, the process is entirely internal. Dealing with the root cause will lead to a complete resolution of your insomnia over around 5 sessions, the cost of each session being £50, you should begin to notice improvement after 2-3 sessions. Our success rate for insomnia is 95% based on a review of our treatment over the first half of 2010.
Some information about curative hypnotherapy which may be of interest to you:
Hypnotherapy is a state of deep relaxation which will feel very natural and pleasant for you. There are two common misconceptions about the hypnosis. The first stems from what is seen of hypnosis on stage/TV where there is the appearance of a loss of control. This is a magic trick loosely based on hypnosis. In our therapy sessions there is no loss of control, you will be able to choose to come out of hypnosis at any stage and you will be fully in control at all times. The second misconception is that the patient will need to reveal thoughts and memories that they do not wish to reveal during hypnosis. At the Curative Hypnotherapy Clinic we practice a form of therapy called ‘Content free hypnotherapy’ where, although memories and thoughts from the past will often come to the surface, only the patient will become aware of them. This then leads to a change in perception of those thoughts and memories which then through further therapy leads to a resolution of the problem. The therapist does not need to become aware of those thoughts and memories for the treatment to be effective.
I hope this has been helpful, should you require any further assistance please feel free to ask.
If you wish to book an appointment then either contact our Clinic receptionist on the landline below or myself on the mobile number.
Kind Regards
