I got my glider chair yesterday from mums2be.co.uk. It's not exactly the £400 Dutalier one I always sit in when I go to John Lewis, but I do like it a lot! It is a huge relief after the sofas stopped working for me, and is one-fifth of the price! :D

I got the reclining one, which I am very happy about. I'll give a list of pros and cons for anyone thinking of buying one.

Pros: Very affordable compared to any I had seen before, it arrived quickly, it was easy for my husband to assemble (it's a flatpack but not many pieces), very comfy compared to my sofa, will be a nice and relaxing place to feed the baby, it is smaller than I expected so I think it will fit nicely in my bedroom if I want it to

Cons: The fabric is corduroy, which is hard-wearing but a little sharp at the moment... that should soften up though, it isn't very wide so if you are ... wide (sorry) then it may not be the best option, I have a very long back so I needed to add some lumbar support (I just stuck an extra cushion behind the backrest) and can't rest my head back when it isn't reclined and I have good posture (but I use my wedge pillow and that works brilliantly)

I would definitely recommend it, though! :D

yay welcome to the recliner club! hehe  glad you got it and like it! :D

I'm going to order my one from there soon - I'm going to get the Beige Recliner Glider Chair. How important is the brake? I was hoping to get away without paying the extra £14.99 for it :D

That's the one I got! I would call it more cream than beige, personally... I think it must have been a guy that named the colours! Ha. I didn't get a brake and I'm fine. I can stop very easily and I don't feel out of control at all. I'm not sure yet how it will be holding a baby. I think it will be fine, as does my husband, but I can't test it at the moment because I have SPD and need to use both my hands to push myself up from sitting.

Thanks Moss :D I figured it would be ok without it. OH is a builder and I'm sure he could fashion a brake if needs be :)

I have a throw to put over mine as cream or beige won't really match in my lounge so not too worried about that. Even in the picture it looks cream coloured - I bet the cream one is actually white
