does anybody know how much I can expect to pay to get a fuse changed in my car- for the central locking system?

It broke yesterday and now I cant open my boot

It should only cost you 50p-£2 for a fuse if you did it yourself, if you have your Haynes manual it should tell you which fuse is which..?

But Nat says that's only if you're definately sure it's only the fuse.. if a new fuse makes no difference he said it could be a relay or a solenoid.. I don't know what that is, or if it's a big job.

I'd have a look in your Haynes to see if it's much help with the fuses, then go to a parts shop and get one if it looks easy. If there's any nice men around try and ask them - they might give you a hand ;) But really, it shouldn't cost much more than that parts-wise, and the labour is a 5 minute job.

Thanks M,

Just been back to the car tho and its working again now

It must have been having an off day lol

All that car stuff sounds so complicated :?
