Chocolate eggs!! :(

i have some easter eggs sitting in front of me and i really really want to open them tonight when kids go bed with a bottle of wine cus OH has gone out but i have had the flu for a week and i cnt taste or smell anything!!! so i dont want to waste them by eating them and not tasting them but i really really want wine n chocolate!!

anyone got any ideas of how to get your sense of smell n taste back, i can breathe through my nose now but just cant taste anything, dont feel like eating because everything tastes of nothing lol!

olbas oil works a treat opens the sinuses up lovely
few drops on a pillow
you can also try olbas oil strepsils to
steem head over bowl of hot water
nasal strips worked for me
sudofred air plug

i alway found extra etxra stong mints or fishermans friends blew the life into my sinus and everything tasted stronger afterwards

sudafed is like a magic miracle potion for blocked noses, but idk if it helps ur sense of smell? multivitamins may help, as lack of some mineral (think its zinc or a b-vitamin i cant remember) dulls your taste and smell senses. hope u feel better soon and dont eat too many eggs!
