Am watching it on Dmax it is fascinating how this can happen. I had a friend who was 7 months before she found out but to get to 9 Abd go into labour! Crazy!

I understand false negatives, I understand no cravings or bump or ms, I even understand false bloods (human error and all that) but what I cannot believe is that these women do not feel any movement???? The feeling of a baby booting you is not something you can ignore. I wonder if some are concealed pregnancies?? x

Mmmh. I was chatting with my uncles g/f yesterday and she says with her first she never felt one thing cos of
The position of the placenta. She said she loved it with the 2nd to know what kicks were like :eh:

Hmmm it's a bit unbelievable isn't it. I can understand women who don't find out til late (4-6 months) but you've gotta wonder what they thought all the kicking is? x

So she didn't feel anything? my stomach used to turn when baby rolled over x

So she says. She's a big girl so maybe it wasn't as obvious for her?? Not sure :oooo: x

I also notice a lot of the women on the show are over weight. Not all tho

Ok well I stand corrected. I remember my whole insides shaking, my stomach moving, a foot between my ribs and the rolling around inside like a washing machine!! I wouldn't have thought anyone would not feel these things but how would I know I suppose x

I don't even think it's an overweight thing you know.
There was a THIN size EIGHT girl in my local newspaper a few weeks ago.
She went into labour on her boyfriends toilet. She thought she was having an extremely painful poop, she screamed and her mother in law came to see what was wrong, she checked and said, "I can see a head".

Her boyfriend said she had no symptoms whatsoever.
They now have a baby boy :)

My mother in law also got to the 5th month when she finally realised she was pregnant. She had normal periods throughout. xxx

my sister found out she was pregnant 2 weeks before she gave birth. She had put on a bit of weight but thought that was because she was at home with a baby (he was 1yr 3 months )
Her periods had come back and she felt no kicks she was rushed to hospital with chronic stomach cramps and was told she was pregnant they felt around and said about 20 weeks.

As they live in Canada and she would have to pay for a scan they decided to wait a month then get the scan. 2 weeks later she turned up on my mums doorstep in labour turns out she was over 40 weeks. They think the baby was lying in a strange position and that is why they guessed the dates wrong and why she had not felt a kick.

My mum said she was a bit shocked but as she has worked on maternity and seen it happen quite a few times it wasnt that shocking. (shocked me as i was pregnant with my first and she had another without me even knowing she was pregnant)
Mum says you can tell the difference when the person is just saying she didnt know as she was in denial or trying to conceal it to the woman that actually didnt know.
I have a cousin who went into denial when she got pregnant with her 2nd and she was far to calm at the birth to have not known iykwim.

I wonder how many of these woman who didnt know suffer from PND only thought of that as my sis had no bond with her 2nd and she had really bad PND just a thought.

In all honestly ladies, with my 1st, my 14yr old DS, I never got kicks! I got a clicking sensation down in my girlie bits but it wasn't a lot. My current pregnancy is so different cos of the movements and alien like pokings out of my belly, but I didn't get anything like that from my DS.

I put it down to him being in the breech position and there was minimal amniotic fluid for him to move about. If it wasn't for the clicking sensation and a bit of a bump, I wouldn't have known he was there. Obviously I knew that I was pregnant though.

But wouldn't these ladies notice that they weren't having periods? x
