i did a test

i done a test yesterday as ive been really bad recording my dates lately and i looked at the calendar and i was sure i should have been on long ago. so i did a test and it came out positive. i have been having quite a few symptoms, dizzzyness, nausea (slight), Increased appitite, and irritability.

im doing another test tonight. im worried about the result. id like it to be positive.

im new here. im 19 im a stable relationship with my fiance with our own place.

any thoughts?

i didnt find out till i was late in on the pregnancy

after uv done another test n comes out + which i think it will
contact ur doc some docs like to wait i think till ur past a certain stage

Hi there!

Does sound like you are PG, congratulations!

No harm in doing another test anyway, I must have done about 80 million!

If you can work out roughly how PG you might be, then call The Dr surgery as ask the receptionist what people normally do.

I just booked in for Dr and then found out I needed a double appt. so they put it back a week!

So don't be afraid to ask!

yea just ring your doctors for an appointment and ask what happens next, with alex i had no idea i was preg or how far along so had a dating scan, maybe if you have no idea you'll get one of these too

thanks guys. i done another test. a clear blue one this time. and it was positive. (+) so i guess its true

im not sure how far gone id be. not to much though i reckon. as i said i was bad at recording my dates so think i would need a dating scan.

me and OH are in shock. but happy shock.

ill take you up on the msn offer, thanks i have no idea of what happens. so will be good to get advice. this site looks good for advice

thanks guys. i rang the doc and made an appointment for later today.

i still cant believe it. i have no idea what im meant to be doing/not doing.

i havent really told no one yet (other than 1 person from msn) i think ill wait until i get to the safer period (3 months isnt?)

when is the first scan?

thanks emma im already finding this site very helpful. and people are friendly and non judgemental like other forums ive visited in the past.

keep looking at the clock waiting for 3pm when i head out to the docs. will they feel my belly to try and see how far along i am? or not because i wont be far? will they try and give me a date? like how many weeks i am? i hope so, i really want to know.

my docs didnt do much, she took my word for it, gave me a EDD according to my last af and then referred me to the midwife. it depends what area you are in as to how thing are done. ive only just seen my mw for the first time and that was at 12 weeks, most people seem to get seen between 8-10 weeks. I had a dating scan as I had irregular cycles and my next scan (nuchal) is tomorrow, then I have one at 23 weeks and thats it.
if you can remember the date of your last af then that will be of help to the docs, if not then i would imagine they will refer you for a dating scan. good luck, let us know how you get on
