Im off to work this morning but have decided i need some retail therapy this afternoon to cheer me up as none of my clothes fit me! The only thing is im undecided what to do, do i buy the next size up and then buy mat clothes another time or do i just buy mat clothes now? Has anyone else bought/wore mat clothes this early? x x

Morning hun,
I find that if you just got up a size then the clothes dont fit in other areas, For example, If I bought a size 16 top when I am normally a 14, just because of the tummy area expanding, Then the top is too big on the shoulders, round the neck etc... Maternity clothes are the same size as you were BUT with bigger round the tummy.
Hope this helps
xxxx

I'd buy maternity, they'll last longer than just buying a size up x

you can buy some gorgeous maternity clothes in most highstreet shops now that dont even look like maternity stuff until your bellys blooming! id do that x

Thanks ladies, i think im going to be more comfortable in mat clothes plus save some money aswel.
I suppose another reason why i was unsure is, i didnt want to jinx things by buying them to early, im just being silly really x x

awww i know how you feel, the first 12 weeks are so worrying! I would really love to buy my first little pair of baby socks or something but i dont dare :-s I think its different if the clothes are for you though - try not to worry x

Thanks Cherelle. I finally finished work at 1.30 thinking i was going to go to the shops and come home with loads of bags full of new clothes, the going to the shops happened but i only got a pair of mat jeans and a baggy top! Everything i tried on was either too small or too big, so i came home in a big grump! x x
