i bleed when i poo, sorry if TMI!

OMG! I just poped on here to post a thread liek this. OH has been moaning at me for ages to see a doctor about blood when I poo but I was to embarrassed and thought it would just sort itself out.

So I guess that means I have piles also

Sick question sorry.. but does that mean im always going to bleed and hurt when i poo?

ive had chronic constipation for about 5yrs now, no matter what i eat or drink, or what laxatives the doc gives me i dont go, ive been into hospital for a blocked colon before, i thought i was having an ectopic pregnancy as was having bowel contractions

and ive got onto my 3rd pregnancy and its the first time ive ever had piles, im in agony with them though, my poo is like pebbles, and now ive got some pretty strong laxatives to take they pour everytime i go for a poo, i mean its like weeing blood theyre that bad

apparently you can get them banded but that sounds more painful than anything else

Vicki83 - does iron tablets make poop and the whole process horrible then!?... my doc has given me some iron tablets (even tough my iron levels where 'excellent' at my last blood test?). kinda scared to take them

Iron tablets make your poop harder & black (well thats what they did to me) sorry for TMI

I went Docs for my piles yesterday and have been give supositries (SP?) She told me they never go once you got them but they do get better just make sure you eat lots of fruit, veg & fibre

iv used suppositories and creams, they make it feel better for a couple of hours then it all starts again!!
i eat half the fruit bowl everyday, have loadsa veg at dinner and am drinking more now too so hopefully it wont b as painful!!!

Yeah as princess says your poo is much harder and a lovely shade of black!
