Hello,

I had Keira 4 weeks ago and had no problems till 2 weeks age. When i went for a number 2 there was a small lump of skin protruding, didnt hurt so i pushed it back in

No problems till yesterday, i went for a number 2 and it hurt and there was blood in the toilet. Is this piles or haemmoroids (bad spelling  )?? What can i do about it??

im now scared to go :rotfl: please help so i can relax on the loo again :rotfl:

Amy

Not a mummy yet, but yes sounds like it to me. You should be able to go to docs and get some cream for it.

  Yes its those nasty old piles!!! From all the pushing, you can get cream on prescription or over the counter, you'll have those little suckers for life now!!

Yeah hun it's the lovely piles! As flame said just go to the doc and get some cream rpescribed for it.

u can have an op to remove them if they get really bad but yes, i am a fellow sufferer who now hates the loo lol!! :rotfl:

Oh god, i really thought they went away eventually! As if my poor body hasn't suffered enough!

My Aunty had them real bad & had them removed, my Dad has them too, it runs in my family :( i'm scared they wont ever go now

ive had piles since i was pg with my first baby and ive still got them now, they get so painful at times and bleed too

God i hope mine don't get really bad, bad enough getting my la la out, don't want anyone poking about my bum!

Oooh they sound horrible, hope they get better ladies!!

Are you one of the lucky ones that managed to escape the dreaded piles then Jade?

So far yes!!!! Im hoping I dont get them!!

I found after I gave birth all I did was poo for days! And they say you dont normally open your bowels for a few days after birth, well that wasnt true for me!

mine isnt painful really but i feel it bulge when i laugh to hard :rotfl: oooh there it goes :rotfl: and again :rotfl:

They can shrink down so that you hardly notice them but once you have them they are there forever as it is a weakening of the blood vessels.

As long as the blood is bright red then it is more than likely to be piles. If the blood is darker or brown in colour then you should get this checked out by a GP as the blood is older and signifies you are bleeding from higher up in your colon.

Creams help to take away the pain and can help with shrinking and you need to make sure thatyou don't get constipated as the extra pushing will make them worse!

Sorry for the delay in the reply but yes ladies, apparently they keepa comin once you've had kids!! True in my case anyway!

i want to go to the loo normally, this isnt fair!!!! :(
