I really fancy a couple of boiled eggs for my dinner.

Why do i want something i cant have?

I hope its not the start of a craving. :?

I like them to be a but runny in the middle though, not to keen on hard boiled and it says everywhere not to eat runny eggs. :(

I'm sure if you boil them until they're nearly hard and then put a tiny knob of butter on the yolk you'll be safe and you'll enjoy them!

What does the butter do? Or is it just that they it tastes good with butter on?

I usually put salt in the yolk.

I had slightly runny poached eggs for lunch, mmmmmmmm :)

Ive had slightly runny eggs as well - its only due to the chance of salmonella as far as im aware and in the 24 years ive been eating them and the 50 years my folks have there has never been a case of salmonella - im betting its odds on I wont get it in the next 6 months, so the occasional runny egg is fine, just so long as the white but is cooked propperly (no slime)

I was at a wedding yesterday and they had a really nice cheese board with brie and blue cheese I so wanted to eat it but managed to resist. It was far more tempting than the alcohol. I have had real cheese cravings (and mashed potates!) for the last week or so :(

gotta go and get some food. You lot have made me so hungry with all this talk. Mmmmm *dribbles*

Fothers I love stilton, absolutely adore it. Nothing nice than stilton and pickle or homemade chutney on crackers mmmm. That's the one main thing (along with pate) that I steer clear of, am really missing it though!

I really really KNOW that one. I have been craving a snotty egg for WEEKS now, and pate on toast and stilton and prawn sarnies from a garage too. :wall:
I think its cos we can`t have them.
Also, I`d LOVEsome scrambled egg on hot buttred toast, but i like mine really runny mmmmmmmmmmmmm with pepper. :(
