Hey,

So my little lady is 9 months old now and my days she is a wriggler but she's got some power behind those legs!

So Size 1-4 i used Aldi Mamia and They were great until she hit size 4 then i noticed she was getting a bit of nappy rash so i switched to pampers active fit (Sizes 4, 4+, 5, 5+(Still in 5 atm))

Due to her wriggly nature and following her momma with big thighs i thought right i will buy some pull-ups and pampers pants to try... i put the Huggies one on this morning (wonderful fit, seemed a little less bulky around the crotch though) When i came to change my little lady after her midmorning nap i was gobsmacked! She was just covered in a solid red rash... i swapped straight back to pampers ones.

LO Woke-up 9:15am
had breakfast then did a full change 9:45am
Midmorning Nap: 10:40 - 11:45am changed her as soon as she woke up before we went out...

I would post a photo but i'm not comfortable sharing her lady regions on the internet... i just know from seeing it and nappy rash it wasn't that... it seemed to be in the same area the blue dye was...

Has anyone else experienced this???

My daughter has just started wearing Pampers nappy pants for these past two days and haven't had any issues yet...

We haven't had issues with either of them but they're just expensive and not really worth it.. I was a very loyal pampers customer until he grew out of 6+ and still wasn't potty trained (still isn't, he's delayed likely the reason) I ended up moving onto little angels supreme dry (purple pack) as the pampers starting to give a rash on the legs as my son can have chubby thighs before grow spurts too.. imo pull ups are no more convenient if not less convenient than normal nappies and they are more expensive.

I would write to pull up to log your experience and see if they give you compo x

Thank you ladies!

My little lady has always had chunky thighs and I find myself going up the sizes so quickly because of it.

Her lady parts were looking much better at bedtime still looks very sore though :(

I spoke to a friend of mine and she said her friend couldn't use huggies or pampers due to sensitive skin :(

I'm going To return the huggies I've been recommended the Tesco and boots nappies :) going to give those a try and see what happens... I've heard fabulous things about little angels from Asda but the nearest one is half an hours journey by car and I don't drive :(

Thats a shame about Asda but all store own brands are quite good and even Aldi is an option or Lidl if there's any of them close by. It's just trial and error and you'll find a brand that fits your daughter the best and doesn't give reaction. I swear by weleda nappy cream to sooth any redness, soreness and reactions down below. I hope you find a brand you like that's value for money and has the right fit x
