LOL @ Alice, Bargain Booze

I go out for a roast nearly every Sunday but don't actually fancy it this week :bored:

I want one too but have nothing in! My nearest Tesco is 15 mins away :(

I haven't had a roast since I've been pregnant :( really fancied one the other day but didn't have hardly anything to make one so did roast potatoes and stuffing with gravy!! It was LUSH :D

I've only had 2 Chaz! It's a real effort to be standing on your feet for hours.. Plus I'm the only one that cleans up afterwards!

Yea my mums is nice but she uses bisto and I love love love home made gravy! I make my own Yorkshire too :smug:

I love a good roast.
Alice your right they are really simple and easy once the prep is done (when OH does it you always hear swearing from the kitchen and he doesnt serve up quick enough!)

I cant decide what to do for lunch today (were still in PJ's )

I find them simple to do! I pop the meat in the oven then prep the parsnips and carrots to roast, pop the new potatoes in cold water ready to boil and the veg in the steamer ready to steam. The 45 min before he meat is ready pop th veg in the oven then just boil the pots and do the rest of the veg!

Make the gravy from the meat juices and voilà!!!
