those gooey cornflake cakes?!

I can make the ones with chocolate which are hard but I really fancy some gooey yummy ones this time but not sure how to make them!! Is it just treacle and cornflakes?!?!

I think you just add syrup as well as chocolate.

They've banned them in schools now apparently! They used to be the highlight of my lunch break

My daughter's school have them whenever they do a fair or a coffee morning, they are yummy!!

Rather then banning things from schools why not teach kids to have stuff in moderation sheesh!!

I dunno if they have banned them everywhere but my mate is a teacher and she said they've gone, along with those massive flapjacks.

She did point out that some kids were spending their entire dinner money on them though, one at first break, 2 for lunch and 1 at afternoon break

Golden syrup, really good cocoa powder and butter. Melt it all up - careful if tasting it - the syrup makes it super hot and burns your tongue (ask me how I know ) Mix the cornflakes in, wait till it sets. If you are impatient stick 'em in the fridge.
