Been away visiting the In Laws this weekend. Thought my cough / cold was finally on its way out on Friday but woke up Saturday morning worse than ever. 3 weeks of this runny nose and cough is starting to annoy me
Am now coughing constantly to the extend that I can't catch my breath and it makes me retch
Been to the Doctors this morning (I've lived in there this pregnancy- never been so ill in all my life - love this little bean but he/she has a lot to answer for).
Doctor just gave me the most rancid looking cough linctus that I need to take with a drop of warm water...?? Should have taken some by now as need to take it 4 times a day but have yet to summon the courage!
Anyway - have midwife coming round on Thursday to sort out homebirth stuff so am concentrating on that.

Hope everyone is OK - just catching up on the people that popped while I was away from the computer!

LOL - I would have covered my phone in some sort of phlegm

DH is angry atme because I've yet to take any of the medicine I've been given, he seems to think it's a cure. It's not - it's just to help relieve the coughing a little and frankly if it takes like vomit I'd rather cough

ugh, ive had a cough the last week too, really annoying and im sure the baby will now think mummys voice is a cough hope you shake it off soon!
