Hi everyone,
I just wanted to share what happened today. I went to the hospitalfor another growth scan and afterwards went to see the midwife. Anyway she decided to weigh me and guess what I have lost a 1 and 1/2 stone since the last time I was weighed even though the baby weighs over 6lbs and still officially has 6 weeks to go (although they are delivering him in 5 weeks ) already so there is no problem.
I am in shock!!! For years I have tried to lose weight and now when I am not even thinking about it it happens-how weird!!!
My husband says its because I am so happy with things-maybe he is right because I can't think of any ither reason except that I have been a little more conscious about making sure I eat veg etc but I can't say I have done much different.
Don't know if anyone else has found the same just thought I would share it with you
Hope you are all well

woohoo!! Glad baby is doing well :cheer:

Re: weight loss: I lost a stone in the first tri.......I've put it back on since week 13 though.....although considering I weigh the same now that i did before pg I am in a size smaller dress size :cheer:

pg is a fab diet! :cheer: i think its the lack of alcoholand the fruit & veg that do it :cheer: and I defintely don't go hungry! Although most meals seem to a bowl of cereal at the moment as its all i want to eat (Libby is a fan of Special K  )

wow paula that is amazing well done!! you have given me some hope!! i have been dreading getting on the scales for ages!! i am going to weigh myself on my due date i have decided

glad all is well though with you and the baby, not long to go now!!

Yes I have lost weight all through preg. I was losing before, and lost during the third tri, but even since I started putting weight on the bump, I have noticed the fat levels going down, and only the bump going up, hence my weight on the scales has gone up rather slowly, and even stayed constant for very long periods of time.
