5 weeks today, test line as strong as the control yay.... where do I go from here?

I know that I have about a week of hpts being accurate, and I feel ok, symptoms come and go vaguely at the minute so can be put down to other things going on, I know that a scan probably won't pick things up yt, but am loath to have one in the epu incase I end up loosing my 12 week one if things are ok, at the same time if I have a private one it doesn't mean that things won't change the next week.... so I won't actually resolve any of my worries for any length of time....

Even if you were to have a private scan you'd be safer saving your money until you're 7 weeks to guarantee seeing a heartbeart. Around here they're very good, when I got my scan date through I knew I couldn't wait, my head was done in. I'd had a mc 7 weeks before and was over 4 weeks pg! I thought history was oing to repeat itself and I was frantic. I rang EPU and after listening to me crying over the phone they offered me a scan a 5 weeks + 4 days. That came with its only problems as I didn't see a hb I went back at 6 + 1 and we had lift off I never realised it was twins though until the 3rd scan 2 weeks later. I still got a scan at 12 weeks though

I phoned up the EPU when I was about 6 weeks (although I have PCOS and I had no clue when I fell pregnant) so I told them that I wanted a scan to put my mind at ease and plus I thought I could have been as far as 14 weeks at that point (turns out I wasnt) but if you just say to them, you have no idea how far on you are or you are really worried they might be able to slot you in. I phoned up and got a app 6 days later x x x

I was dated at an early scan (7 wks) and they didnt give me a 12 wk one as a result. That place I told you about do reassurance from 8 weeks to be certain of a HB. Once they see one your chances of going to term are dramatically increased (over 95%) but I know that doesnt held after a MMC.

You just have to try to remember that worrying wont make a blind bit of difference either way in the same way a scan cant change the out come.

^^^ thanks ladies, I'm trying not to worry, but also of things to help reassure me, which at the minute the pregnancy tests are doing (just) I don't suppose it will really get any easier until I hit 20 weeks and can start to feel baby. I have got DH to take the day off to come to my MW appt too as he has questions he needs answering too... I almost had to peel him off the ceiling when he found me lookng for someting in the drawer I keep all my tampons in

I hope u don't get fed up of me, am very aware that I have already started several posts in the same vein, but I really do appreciate all ur support

I just have too keep taking things day by day

I guess it was the reaslisation this morning that I cannot spend the next 9 months
