Hi everyone
I’m currently 5 weeks preg and things seem to be going well so far with hcg riding very nicely etc but I’m still a wreck with nerves! This is my second baby and with my first I was ever the optimist. I had two chemical pregnancies earlier in the summer which I guess is why I’m such a mess but my brain can analyse that this one is different with strong testing and more symptoms etc but still my heart can’t stop worrying!

Whether it be a teeny temp dip like this morning or cramps anything sets me off with impending doom and I hate it! I just want to enjoy the process again.

I think it’s very normal for you to feel like this especially after your loses (sorry for this).
Maybe for your own sanity you should book yourself in for a private early scan instead of waiting for the 12 weeks to come around. This will give you a peace of mind.
If you feel very differently this time round it’s morw than likely everything is going to be just fine. I am not going to tell you not to worry or panic because it’s impossible not to feel like this but try and enjoy it l.
Wishing you a happy and healthy 9 months x

I would stop temping now if I were you there is no reason to still be doing it it’s only useful for confirming ovulation, I’m the same I had a chemical earlier in the year then a blighted ovum which wasn’t discovered until I started spotting at 10 weeks, I’m now 12+6 with this pregnancy and things seem to ge going well, with this one a got a nice early bfp at 9dpo and my tests got dark very quickly, got the 3+ on digital nice and early too so I found that really reassuring, I also booked a private early scan for 8 weeks so it was something to break up the awful 8 week wait, I still worried a lot of the time though even though I have been horribly sick and I still worry now even after an amazing 12 week scan! You can only take each day as it comes, stop temping and stop testing now that you’ve had 3+, just take each day at a time, it’s a very positive sign that your hcg is rising nicely the odds are in your favour xx

Thankyou so much I will put the thermometer away now I think
