Hi all,

Since coming off the pill in October last year my cycles are usually 35-37 days. I am now on CD 54 with no period. My mum passed away almost 3 weeks ago and I think the shock and stress has caused me to skip a period and my GP is of the same thinking. I have done several tests (most recent one yesterday) and all bfn. I have no AF or preg symptoms at all so my cycle is messed up now.
The odd thing is that I had a lot of ewcm on CD 46 and 47.
I was wondering has anything similar happened to anyone? Or can anyone reccommend anything to jumpstart a period so i can get into my next cycle?
Xx

Sorry to hear about your mum x

I would say there isn't much you can do now but wait x

Try looking at herbal remedies online?there is potential you could have ovulated cd46? And now could be early pregnancy?
Im really sorry to hear about your mum xx
Best of luck to you xx

Hi L&P

Sorry to hear about your Mum *hugz*

I don't have any advice of how to start AF but didn't want to read and run.

I'm also on 3 rd cycle offf pill and this one was 52 days, before that were 35 & 37. No reasons why this month would have been so long and spent about 30 quid on pregnancy tests to just get BFNs.

Hope AF arrives for you soon. I'm starting acupuncture next week as heard it can help to regulate cycles and I'm pretty much willing to try anything that helps xx

So sorry about your mum.

If you had EWCM around day 46 then it'll be another 2 weeks before AF from then. I gave up dairy to help my hormonal imbalance as well as losing weight. Some women find a purer diet or a Paleo style diet helps them.

So sorry to hear about your mum love and peace.
Sorry no advice but I'd agree it's probably down to the situation. Xx

So sorry to here about your mum.

Your gp can prescribe norethisterone you take it then you get a period when you stop.

Hope that helps,

Good kick ttc.

Xx

Thanks everyone.
Im going to try acupuncture too when AF eventually does arrive. Although DH and I have been dtd as well so still hoping for a bfp too.xx
