Hi ladies;
Some of you may have followed a previous post of mine and saw that I had a bfp last cycle that ended in a mc the same day.
I've had my bloodwork done (I also asked for a general full blood check up and it came back fine) and I'm ready to get straight back on the ttc wagon.
How soon after you mc'd did you ovulate? Do you just class day 1 of your bleed as your 1st af day? I feel absolutely fine now, I'm lucky it wasn't a painful mc and I didn't bleed too badly and it died down after a few days. I've been using opks and they've gotten a tad fainter over each progressing day so I know my hormones should be going back to normal.

Did anyone decide to do/take anything different after they had a mc? I'm currently on pregnacare conception and hubs is back on wellman. We also take maca powder most days. Is there anything else that could be added for a boost? I've been reading lots of articles about helpful things, is the baby aspirin worth a go? I've read good and bad. I guess desperation always gets the better of everyone and my willingness to try whatever I feel may help always over rides any cautions I should have lol.

Would love to hear back from anyone who's been in a similar boat and of course, babydust to everyone! :dust:

Sorry to hear of your loss Hun hope you get a speedy sticky bfp soon!

I had an ectopic in Feb and conceived again in May (bfp beginning of June) I've heard of women who conceived straight after their MC.

Good luck xx

Thank you Hun xx just want to crack on and get back at it lol. I have read articles saying women are more fertile after a mc but I'm not gonna get my hopes up, this was a long wait for this bfp so I'm gonna be realistic about it. Annoying thing now is im back to square one with the docs, she said as I'd managed to get preggo I'll be starting again and will need to wait a year if I want to try and get some form of help, typical! X

Sorry to hear about your loss *hugs*. I've just been through something similar, bfp on day AF was due but started bleeding 3 days later. Got sent for early scan and nothing there and bloods were done and back to normal levels by Friday just gone which was a week after I stopped bleeding. Been using the clearblue digi opks and got flashy smiley today and yesterday so hoping for a solid smiley this week sometime. Sending you lots of luck and baby dust,its so horrid having your hopes up and then dashed so hope we both get our sticky beans soon xx

Sorry to hear of your loss too, it's so disappointing when you get your hopes up seeing that bfp and then it's all over. Mine was so quick, literally about an hour after I tested. I have to go back for one more blood test to check my levels have decreased, she said she was satisfied they were lowering but wanted to double check as I've only had one test.
I just bought some cheap opks but I'm also tempted to use clearblue just for this month due to the circumstances and what with the smiley faces being easier to read haha.
Hope your get your bfp soon too, I know we aren't the only ones and that it's a common occurrence and that's what keeps me positive, it's too easy to get down over ttc alone so I don't want to add any more stress to that either. Positive mental attitude and a lot of bd'ing and let's hope we have stickys the next time. Xx

Hi, sorry to hear about your loss. I had much the same in May. It's so difficult. I counted from first day of bleed and ovulated day 17 instead of usual 15. No luck that time though. Next AF was heavier than usual though right on time. I didn't do ovulation tests this time as I'd run out so not sure if ovulation is back to normal.

We've a referral thru due to length of time we've been trying. I was going to mention chemical but from what you've been told I'm thinking i shouldn't. We can't afford to spend another yr trying due to age.

How are you getting on? I've been tracking ovulation and got my solid smiley face today which us cd16 if I class the day I started bleeding as day 1. I would usually ovulate cd14 so was a little late but Happy to have ovulated so soon after. Hopefully will catch!

I lost one in feb at 5 weeks I put the day I started bleeding in my app as the day af started, I didn't see my oh after the mc so I started my period exactly 28 days after I started bleeding, I didn't catch the egg in march but I did catch aprils egg and am now 11 + 2 if your fertile with no issues there you should catch within a couple of months, from what my dr told me your chances are still 20% each month and the chance of a second loss is still at normal levels .
