Sorry...sounds like a silly question.
For the first couple of weeks Violet was rarely sick. She then develop what we are asuming is colic and cries as she has trapped wind..it's awful!!! :( Now over the last couple of days I have noticed her been sick quite a bit, lots more than she ever was-after a feed today she was sick 5 times within 2 hours (does this sound a lot or not??) it was quite a lot of sick too!! :puke: Maybe she is just a greedy baby who has eaten too much...I breastfeed her but she rarely decideds the has had enough and only comes off when she falls asleep. Today she has had an unsettled day and has been very colicky...I didn't know if this sickness was making her cry too or whether I'm just looking into it too much...any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks xxx :D

Evie is sicky too- the HV thought it was reflux but since hanging her milk she's been a lot lss sicky.

I was a sicky baby too- I don't think I can do much else apart from cover every inch of clothes with muslins!

Speak to your HV if you are worried but if she's gaining weight and being sick doesn't seem to cause her pain (other than the colic of course) then it's probably just that she's gobbled too much! :D

Lil miss is a lot older but shes sick around 8 or 9 times a day atm... when she was that little it could be up to 20 times... drove me made... Sounds like shes got some reflux...but it sounds normal.

Angel is on and off. Some days she's a pig then spends the breaks being sick. Then others hardly any at all. But when she's sck there is loads. Generally down my top and into my cleavage! Lol Worries me too sometimes but was told if it's not everyday then not to worry. If it went on for a week then to take her to my GP.

i've just posted on your feeding thread hon, but i'll say it here too - large quantities of sick can mean reflux (along with discomfort, arching back, coughing, fussing at feeds). connor was a lot like your LO when he was little. if you're worried, take her to your GP for a chat?

Connie is sick lots - it usually means there's another burp to come up.

It can sometimes be quite a bit (and up to 2 hours after a feed) and generally dribbles out of the side of her mouth when she's lying down.

NICE.

Not pleasant but totally normal I think!!

Same as Phoebs.

Though recently she quite successfully manages to puke straight down my tops into my bra - lovely, specially when we are out and I have to ram a muslin down there to get the pool of milk/sick out :puke: Having a baby is so glamourous!

when he was tiny he use to vomit his whole bottles up at times, use to come out of his nose bless him. I dont think we've had a day where he hasnt thrown up something. its getting alot better now we've started weaning but at the same time its horrible when a bit of digested cauliflower cheese comes up, very smelly! At four months i took him to the doctors but he said it wasnt bad enough for him to prescribe him with anything. its just something we've gotten use to now.

Usually with wind... mabey once after each bottle, and dribbles bits out on his play mat as the others do.

Id only worry if he was bringing the whole bottle up hun, or not putting on weight. Babys are messy little creatures!!

My lo has reflux, so he would vomit loads and loads during the day.......still does some days.

I wouldn't worry too much about it just yet as long as she is not dehydrated then she should be fine. Talk to your HV or GP in the next couple of days if you are worried. xxx

kenzo is sick lots and lots and lots!! although in the past few weeks it's improved.

Eva too....in the first few weeks it seemed like gallons at a time, whole costume changes for both of us several times a day! She is still sicky now but not such volumes, her reflux is more the silent-writhe-about-in-pain-and-shriek kind :(
I am hoping she will outgrow it when she is weaned

well....it seems to have calmed down a lot now...it happene at the same time i stopped giving her infacol so i wonder if that was making her sick. she still does it but not as much.
thanks for all your avice. :D

yeh i use to give ky dentinox colic medicine and that use to make him more sick.
