How often do you wash your.....

Bedding - about every 2 wks, girls one week then ours,

Towels - once a week

PJS -the girls pjs every day, mine and oh once every few days

Bra's - I'll wear one bra for a few days before washing it, it doesn't seem dirty after just one day?

Dressing gown- hardly wear it

Bedding - Every Saturday, altho ours havent been changed since Chesters arrival . Chester Moses basket sheets have been changed 3 times in the 10 days he's been home.

Towels - 2-3 uses, Chesters hooded towel things get washed after every use.

Bra's - Usually wear same bra for a couple of days

PJ's - I wear the same nighty/jim jams for a couple of evenings then wash them (I sleep naked in bed! )

Dressing gown - I think i've only washed it once since I got it for xmas, but I hardly ever wear it, it just lives on the hook on the back of the bathroom door!!

Pj's Hardy wear them so not very often lol

Does anyone else think that not letting kids have bedding is cruel? I'm shocked by that

Bedding - Every week.

Towels - My OH can use the same towel for a week I wash mine after every second use. Yes we have our own towels!! I don't like the thought of drying myself with a towel my OH has rubbed his nether regions on!

Bra's - Every couple of days but my pants were washed every night!

PJ's - Depending on how sweating I get during the night I usually wash every 2nd day.

Dressing gown - I hardly wear my dressing gown so it rarely gets washed. On average I would say every 2nd month.

Its very weird tbh. Surely the matress would be cold without a sheet on it? Not warm and soft anyway. Do the parents have sheets on their bed? Maybe they should try sleeping without one and see if they like it..

Also to the person above who said about their friend who doesnt use bedding - i was watching houses behaving badly last week and the cleaning expert said its imperstive that the beds have bedding as you get bugs all in the quilts, pillows and mattress - he said germs fester quick in beds unless there cleand reguarly and the sheets and bedding etc is washed on a 60 degree wash reg.

I couldnt bear sleeping on a bed with no bedding eww!

Yep, I totally agree, I have tried informing my SIL of the hygiene aspect (not to mention the whole self-esteem/pride issue) and it falls on deaf ears. What annoys me more is my nephew has eczema!! So that surely must make it worse???
She winds me up for lots of reasons, this is just one of many.

Bath towels... After 3 uses (I shower everyday but OH every other if that )

Bedding.... Ours every other week & Harrison's every other day, if not everyday.

Dressing gown.... Depends if I use it and If I do it gets washed with the towels.

Nightwear (nightie/PJs).... Gets put in with normal clothes and I do the washing every day to maybe everyother.

Bras.... Wear the same one for 2 days like I do with my clothes and then wash it.

About a year ago there was a thread on how often people washed their towels on a wedding forum. I was alerted to it by my best friend who was getting married and had been reading it. We laughed so much we cried - what started out as an innocent discussion on towel washing turned into s gruesome diatribe about who's fiance was more likely to leave smegma smeared on a towel. There were 40-odd pages of it, with contributers accusing each other of being dirty/paranoid/like a snail (delete as appropriate.

Why debate such things?

Bath towels... i guess once a week - whenever i think of it really! I tumble dry them after every use

P.S me and my OH have 'our own' towels too (someone else said they did)

Bedding.... probably every 10 days ish? My mums on a water meter and she moans if I do them too often, when i get my own place it'll probably be every few days as I love clean bedding!

Dressing gown....when i remember! Not worn very often - normally only for trips to the loo if there are other people around in the house

Nightwear (nightie/PJs).... every day! and what do you all wear in bed if you don't wear PJs!????

towels............every couple of uses...or in lil miss' case after every use because pukes or pees on the towel after a bath

PJS................Henrik sleeps in the nuddy, Tia has responsibility over her clothing...ie if she wants it washed it has to go in the wash basket, and lil miss makes sure that mine and hers get washed every day by puking on me and herself on a regular basis

bra's............. *sigh* every day as my boobs leak at night. or lil miss pukes down my cleavage...

dressing gown......don't own one so never

basically if lil miss pukes on it or poops on it... it will be washed....
