My lo still feeds a few times through the night and I was wondering how often other babies feed at this age! :D

Evie feeds two or three times during the night still.

Still dreaming of the day I'll have a full nights sleep again

In the last 2 weeks Grace has gone from 3 feeds per night, 11, 1.30 and 4 am then up at 7.30 to one feed at 3 am ..............
I can't tell you the difference it has made... :) :) :)
but I still long for the completely uninterrupted nights
I have to add that it is only like this because my HV said that Grace shouldn't need to feed that much and that it was habit instead of her actually being hungry. So for the last couple of weeks, when she has woken I have just patted her back for a second or two then left her alone and she has gone back to sleep. Gradually she got used to waking less and less for her milk. I thought it would be a difficult habit to break but it has been quite easy ..............
except that I woke up one night having leaked all over the bed because Grace slept for so long without waking :rotfl: :rotfl:

Brody didn't start sleeping through until he was 9 months I fed him every night till then. :)

Aimee was having 1 bottle during the night at that age but Jess and Nathan have both slept through from about 3 months.

So glad I'm not the only one who's still feeding a lot - Alex feeds anything from 2-6 times between midnight and 7. Last night he fed pretty much continuosly between 12-1.15am, then again between 5-6. He's not a great sleeper! My DD was sleeping through at his age so it's been a rude awakening to sleepless nights. I'm knackered!

Imogen is having at least 3 feeds between 12 and 6. and its killing us, hopefully she will settle soon.

i know you are all going to hate me but from day 1 paris went from 11pm to 7am and slept through

That's really good if she was sleeping through from then, saved you all the night feeds!

Mrs_tommo are you breastfeeding?

Alex fed around half a dozen times between midnight and 7am :bored:  He's doing it for comfort though, I'm sure!

I know little Ryans only a week old, and we think he's in his growth spurt!!! But he feeds about 12, 3, 6... The midwifes in hospital told us to try and stick to a 3 hourly pattern so maybe he's gotten used to it. If the times change though so he does a 1 o clock and a 4 o clock, we tend to leave him asleep til 8 or 9 if he doesn't wake before then, just so we can have a bit of a kip!!

Austin had a wonderful week when he slept from 9pm to 7am quite happily. Then he started teething and now wakes up at least twice, usually 3 times a night. He wants a feed every time he wakes and I can't settle him unless I feed him.

We tried to have OH go in and give him a dummy or rub his belly to get him back to sleep, because we thought he may only want feeding when he smelled my milk, but it hasn't worked! He just gets more and more wound up and takes longer to settle. It's easier now to just feed him! He usually settles really quickly again after 10 minutes on the boob so I'm not normally out of bed for more than 15-20 mins but it's exhausting me, especially now I'm working 2 days a week too.

I'm hoping that once this blimmin tooth comes through he'll go back to sleeping through, but I've got a feeling he'll have got too used to waking up! It would almost be easier if he had never slept through so I wouldn't know what I was missing!

riley only has one or 2 during the night. usually about 2or 3am, then about 6am (ok, so not night tecknially, but it is to me lol)

he only has about 10mins in his night feeds. then goes back down like a little top......usually lol

I think it is because it is early days. They do tend to suck for longer. :D

Maybebaby, I feel better reading your post, sounds like your situation is very similar to mine! OH tried to settle Fin last night and he screamed. As soon as I went in, LO cuddled up to me and went straight to sleep with not a sound. :D

melissa only wakes once now and occasionally sleeps thru, and shes not even 3 months i guess im lucky!
