I started weaning h on monday and he was quite content with the 2 teaspoon amount of baby rice so I made the same amount of rice last night and he was whinging for more!so I gave him some banana yoghurt which he loved and eat the same amount of that before he started spitting it out! Is this too much to begin with?

I don't have the answer as I haven't weaned Ella yet but didn't want to read and run. I would have thought though that he will only take what he wants as he showed by spitting it out when he didn't want any more... I'm sure I will have the same worries soon! x

I think you just follow their lead they let you know when they've had enough or too little xx

I would make up 4 spoons when I started and wait till she had enough and spat it out some times she would eat more and other times less she now has a whole jar a meal lol

Evie do you feed chloe 3 meals a day?at the moment I just give him dinner at around 7pm (he goes to bed at around 10-11) but was wondering whether breakfast should appear sooner rather than later?

I do but I only started with dinner then she started moaning for brekkie then lunch lol they will let you know when they want it x

I was giving charley 4 spoonfulls of museli with 2oz's of milk and he was wingeing for more and he'd quite happily eat a while banana. I've stopped giving him food a while though cos he stopped taking his milk but since I've done it he's drinking his whole bottle again. I'll start on the food again in a couple of weeks

Yeah I think just follow their lead, I thought it kwould be difficult to begin with but have actually found it pretty easy to tune into what cahal wants / needs, Im sure your LO will be good too :)
