How much difference does anterior placenta make to movement?

Hi All,

I really don't notice much a of a pattern with baby's movements.....I'm not overly worried as I do still feel movements throughout the day, especially cervix trampolining, and also have a half decent doppler that always picks up a strong heartbeat. However, I still don't get those "take your breath away strong kicks" that others talk about.

I've got an anterior high placenta and wondered how much that affects what I feel? As an example, earlier today I could feel the head under my ribs and baby was lying high in general, I've just checked again and he/she is lying low down.....it must have been quite a big movement but I didn't feel it!

Probably plays its part. They do absorb a lot I am told.

I have an anterior placenta sitting quite high and don't feel anything back there, but during recent scans LO has been giving it some welly there  But I do notice the kicks and wriggles out front and to the side.

i only really noticed movements when connor put his feet up under my ribs or bounced on my bladder

i didnt feel movement until at least 22/23 weeks and i had an anterior placenta, but then i felt her on and off for a few weeks and then i felt her all the time
