I was bf but due to lo not being well I had to express to see how much lo was getting. Lo now rarely breastfeeds and as a result I am now mainly given ebm and topping up with formula which I was advised to do by hospital if o a was still hungry..

I'm just wondering how much you are expressing as I feel I'm not getting enough. Lo
Is 2weeks and I'm on average expensing 50ml and expressing everytime lol feeds which is about every 3-4 Hours.

Also are there any tops to get more Brest mik?

I'm still struggling to exprsss more than 30mls both boobs after a feed but my lo seems to be doing well otherwise. I've heard its good to eat oats. I took sone fenugreek tablets for a few days. I got a medela pump whivk is easy to use but gets no more out than the crappy manual pump.

How old is your lo? Thank you I shall give eating oats a try, il try anything to get more out its so frustrating xx

I would express more often. At 2 weeks old a baby would be feeding much more than every 3-4 hours and would be more effective at getting out milk than a pump. I would pump every 2 hours including through the night to establish your supply x

i was getting 50 ml at a few weeks, now i can get 4oz from one boob if i express while feeding first thing in the morning, 14 weeks old and ive expressed from the start fairly regularly
